Corethan: A Quirky Display Font for Creative Campaigns

Corethan for Social Media Graphics and Brand Teasers

Corethan is a fun and natural handwritten display font that adds a unique, personal touch to any creative project. As I prepared a product launch graphic for an online course, I decided to test Corethan in the headline. The font’s organic feel immediately stood out against the clean background, making the message feel approachable and engaging. It worked especially well for short, punchy headlines on Instagram posts and Pinterest pins, where visual hierarchy and first impression matter most.

When designing a YouTube thumbnail, I used Corethan for the title text. Its quirky personality helped grab attention without overwhelming the viewer. The font's natural flow made it ideal for promotional visuals that needed to feel both professional and personable.

Corethan for Email Banners and Webinar Promotions

Next, I tested Corethan in an email banner for a webinar promotion. The font’s readability on mobile screens was impressive—despite its handwritten style, it remained legible even at smaller sizes. I paired it with a clean sans serif font for body text, which created a nice contrast and improved overall message clarity.

The playful yet elegant look of Corethan helped reinforce the brand’s tone, making the campaign feel more relatable. I noticed that recipients engaged more with the email when the subject line and header were styled with Corethan, especially in fast-scrolling inboxes where first impressions are key.

For the webinar banner itself, I used Corethan as the main display text. It added a sense of urgency and excitement to the event title, while still maintaining enough legibility for quick scanning. The font’s versatility allowed me to use it across different platforms without needing multiple versions or adjustments.

Corethan for Digital Ads and Landing Page Headers

In digital ads, Corethan proved to be a strong choice for callout text and campaign labels. When designing a Google Ad for a seasonal sale, I applied Corethan to the headline. Its handwritten style gave the ad a friendly and trustworthy vibe, which resonated well with the target audience.

I also experimented with using Corethan in landing page headers for an online shop campaign. The font’s natural appearance helped create a warm, inviting atmosphere that aligned perfectly with the brand’s identity. However, I made sure not to use it for long paragraphs or dense information blocks, as its stylized form isn’t ideal for extended reading.

It’s important to note that Corethan works best for short headlines, decorative titles, and display text rather than supporting typography or dense content. This makes it a great fit for campaigns that prioritize visual appeal and quick message delivery over lengthy explanations.

Corethan for Instagram Posts and Content Series

For an Instagram content series promoting a new product line, I used Corethan in the captions and post titles. The font’s casual, handwritten style matched the brand’s voice and helped build a stronger connection with the audience. I found that using Corethan in the post captions increased engagement, as it felt more personal and authentic.

When designing reel covers and story templates, I layered Corethan with other fonts to ensure readability and balance. Pairing it with a modern sans serif font provided a clear visual contrast, making the content more scannable and visually appealing on small screens.

Its ability to blend into various design styles made Corethan a go-to choice for social media campaigns that required a consistent yet dynamic visual identity. Whether it was used in quotes, promotional messages, or branded hashtags, the font always brought a sense of creativity and individuality to the content.

Corethan for Website Banners and Promo Graphics

Finally, I incorporated Corethan into a website banner for a limited-time offer. The font’s natural handwriting style added a sense of exclusivity and immediacy to the promotion. It worked exceptionally well when paired with bold colors and minimalistic layouts, allowing the message to stand out without being overwhelming.

On promo graphics, Corethan helped elevate the visual storytelling by adding a human element to otherwise standard designs. It was especially effective in creating a memorable brand experience, as the font’s quirky charm left a lasting impression on viewers.

Before using Corethan in any client-facing project, it’s essential to check the included styles, alternates, ligatures, weights, file formats, multilingual support, and commercial font licensing. These factors ensure that the font can be used effectively across all intended platforms and mediums.
